Hydrel: FLAME Lighting Technique is Lighting Product Design of the Year

Patent-pending FLAME recognized for innovation and design excellence by LIT Design Awards™

Atlanta, GA, December 18, 2023 – Hydrel® (www.hydrel.com), an established innovator and provider of outdoor architectural and landscape lighting products, is pleased to announce its FLAME lighting technique was recognized as the Lighting Product Design of the Year 2023 from the LIT Design Awards™.

LIT Design Awards was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. All entries are evaluated by an esteemed grand jury panel of experienced and prominent academics, professionals, press members, entrepreneurs, and key people from the lighting design industry.

The Lighting Product Design of the Year Award recognizes the efforts of talented lighting product designers and engineers who improve and perfect the quality of design and light emitted by their designs.

FLAME is a new play on RGBW LED light. The patent-pending lighting technique offers two beams in one luminaire: a central beam and an outer beam that blend harmoniously to create an impressive accent gradient effect. This unique optical engineering construction is currently available with SAF7F, SAF14F, and SAF28F floodlights in RGBW. Designers can choose Narrow, Wide, or Lotus FLAME distributions to create the desired lighting aesthetic.

FLAME will receive the coveted LIT Awards Trophy and will be featured in the LIT Awards annual Book of Design.
