Hydrel’s Tierra Luminaire Wins 2024 Product Innovation Award
Compact IGF Ingrade family recognized by Architectural Products magazine
Atlanta, GA, December 9, 2024 – Hydrel (www.hydrel.com), an established innovator and provider of outdoor architectural and landscape lighting products, is pleased to announce its Tierra IGF Ingrade family has been awarded a 2024 Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products magazine.
The PIA program was created to celebrate the ground-breaking products, systems, and materials that help architects achieve new levels of creativity or performance in their design. Each entry is reviewed by an esteemed panel of practising architects; manufacturers of products and systems are awarded based on attributes, qualities, functionality, or performance beyond industry standards.
Tierra offers a higher-density LED array than other ingrades, paired with a precision optic and lightshaping films to achieve a higher intensity for accent lighting and excellent uniformity with no hot spots or shadows for wall washing. As a result, the compact luminaire provides precision uplighting for columns, facades, and trees. Hydrel's patented Flow-Thru technology and hybrid sealing make Tierra IP68-rated for resistance to both water and dust.
Winners of the 14th annual program will be profiled in the November/December issue of Architectural Products.
